Trivium est un groupe musical de metalcore fondé en 2000, originaire d'Orlando, Floride, aux États-Unis. Le groupe est passé du metalcore avec ses deux premiers albums (Ember to Inferno, Ascendancy), au thrash metal (The Crusade), jusqu'au compromis entre les deux (Shogun) ; cependant, l'appartenance au style metalcore est niée et désapprouvée par le groupe. Leur sixième album studio, Vengeance Falls, est commercialisé le 9 octobre 2013. En 2013, le groupe a vendu plus de 6 million d'albums à travers le monde.
