Queens of the Stone Age (МФА: [ˈkwiːnz əv ðə ˈstoʊn ˈeɪdʒ]) — американская рок-группа из Калифорнии, основанная в 1996 году Джошем Хомми. Группа играет комбинированный вариант метала и психоделического рока, являясь, таким образом, одной из наиболее известных представителей стоунера. Группа Queens Of The Stone Age была сформирована на пепелище команды Kyuss, распавшейся в 1995 году. Бывший её участник вокалист и гитарист Джош Омм отправился в Сиэтл, чтобы принять участие в туре команды Screaming Trees, и вскоре собрал новую группу: Ван Коннер (Screaming Trees), Мэтт Кэмерон (Soundgarden и Pearl Jam) и Майк Джонсон (Dinosaur Jr.).
