Neil Leslie Diamond (* 24. Januar 1941 in New York City) ist ein US-amerikanischer Sänger und Songwriter. Er hatte vor allem in den späten 1960er und in den 1970er Jahren Top-Ten-Hits wie Sweet Caroline, I Am… I Said, Song Sung Blue, Desireé und Cracklin’ Rosie. Mit über 125 Millionen verkauften Schallplatten (bis Mai 2009) ist Neil Diamond einer der erfolgreichsten Musiker weltweit. Diamond schrieb auch Hits wie I’m a Believer für die Monkees und Sunflower für Glen Campbell.
