Nite Life runs through all of the songs other performers had hits with and made standards, including the title track, "Crazy," "Funny How Time Slips Away," and "Hello Walls." Not only does it have the songs that established Nelson's reputation, the disc shows that even early in his career he was creating an eclectic, far-reaching music that never stayed within the boundaries of traditional country.
