Uncontrollable is a track in Xenoblade Chronicles X, composed and arranged by Hiroyuki Sawano with original lyrics by mpi and vocals provided by mpi and Mika Kobayashi. It is track four of disc two from the XenobladeX Original Soundtrack. This music is heard during most Tyrant battles (except Nahum, the Red Hare and Nardacyon, the Shadowless; Lugalbanda, the Wanderer-King; Dadaan, the Strongest Prone; Pharsis, the Everqueen; Vortice, the Deific Blast; Phanatos, the Netherlord; and Telethia, the Endbringer) and will begin playing as soon as the Tyrant has detected the lead party member. This music also plays when battling Grenade Pizza F in Murder Most Foul. An instrumental version is heard during most Time Attack Missions.
Uncontrollable returns in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and is heard when fighting against Elma during the Challenge Battles Otherworldly Fighter and Elma: Redux. After bringing Elma into Alrest, Uncontrollable will play when fighting a Unique Monster so long as 'Special BGM' is Enabled in the game settings and Elma is equipped as a Blade. If Shulk or Fiora is also equipped then whoever is equipped to the party leader will have their Special BGM play. If neither Shulk nor Fiora nor Elma is equipped to the party leader, but both Elma and either Shulk or Fiora (or both) are equipped to other active Drivers, then a theme will be selected at random between 'Uncontrollable' and 'You Will Know Our Names'.
