One human I observed seemed to have the prime directive of restoring the Net Terminal Gene to humanity’s gene pool, in order to retake control of the Megastructure. An arduous journey this was, spanning eons upon eons of time, the relentless search of the gene or a human with it kept me in awe. Was this the product of indomitable human spirit? The power of the human intellect by blending such god-like technology with a seemingly mortal being? I came away with more questions about this individual than answers, but seeing that from someone facing incredibly perilous odds genuinely changed me a little bit. The revelations I was having gave me perspective on humanity, and reminded me of their great power of spirit and intelligence that humanity possesses. I shall never underestimate them again.
