A girl – played by Garance Marillier, acclaimed young actress from French movie Raw – dons the VR glasses which takes her into a digital forest, where she becomes the magnificent dog that she pines for in her bedroom. Then the real world and its VR equivalent run in tandem, as her canine avatar runs through verdant digi-forest while she blunders blindly through her Paris neighbourhood.
It's a cool idea, and Laboury seamlessly ratchets the action up from the humourous to something more thrilling, without losing the dreaminess that matches the song.
