"Right Action" is a song by the Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand. It is the lead single from their fourth studio album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, and is the album's semi-title track.
It was released in the UK on 18 August 2013. It has been described as having a funk-like catchy guitar sound. A video of the new single was released online on 7 July and features the band performing in an environment similar to their previous video "Take Me Out".
To date it has moderate success reaching number 39 on the UK Indie Chart, number 28 in the US Alternative music Billboard Chart and Number 22 in the Japanese Singles Chart.
