Written originally in French by Evelyne Kral and Frédéric Jaffré, the song was adapted to English and Indonesian by Anggun. Released as the second single from Anggun's third international album, Luminescence (2005), it was also used as the soundtrack of the U.S. box-office number-one film Transporter 2. The song remains one of Anggun's most popular single internationally.
