Importing Single and Album Releases

Hi All.

Been here for only a week contributing to the database. Wanted to ask if aside music brains there isn't any way to import album or single release from websites like last.fm or streaming platforms like apple music, deezer and the others. They seem to have up to date information and releases overthere.

You can import any release-group from musicbrainz. But we use their ID so it needs to come from them, not discord etc.

There is nothing stopping you adding stuff to musicbrainz then importing though. Its just a bit long winded.

If you play with musicbrainz you will understand why this database is the best startpoint. The full space of audio metadata with relations to each other can be used to connect many other sites and services.
