The project originated under the alias Guap Sensei, during which the artist focused on lo-fi, amateur trap production with a specific emphasis on "Trap Metal". Around 2023, the artist pivoted to the "Craig Scissorhands" persona, adopting a more structured narrative approach inspired by Burtonesque gothic imagery and horror tropes.
