Helena Noguerra, born May 18, 1969 in Brussels, is a Belgian singer, actress and novelist of Portuguese descent.
She is the younger half-sister of the singer Lio.
Helena Noguerra began her professional career as a model in the 1980s. In 1986, she appears as a dancer and chorus girl in the video clip of Indochine, Tes yeux noirs, directed by Serge Gainsbourg. In 1988, she recorded her first single, Lunettes noires, under the pseudonym LNA Noguerra.
Daniel Chenevez (of the group Niagara) records with her Rivière des anges in 1992. She continues her career as a singer by collaborating with the Ollano project (with Marc Collin - before Nouvelle Vague - and Xavier Jameaux - before Bang Bang) made famous by the song Latitudes. Then, in 1998, she recorded her first solo album, Projet : bikini, which she wrote in collaboration with Doriand.
The following albums, Azul and Née dans la nature, were co-written with her husband of more than eight years, Philippe Katerine. Azul is signed to Bertrand Burgalat's Tricatel label, with whom Helena composed the theme song for his show Une journée avec.
A duet album with Federico Pellegrini (ex-member of the Little Rabbits) followed in 2006, Bang, under the pseudonyms of Dillinger Girl and Baby Face Nelson, then an album of covers of Serge Rezvani's songs, Fraise-Vanille, which she co-produced with Sébastien Martel in 2007. It includes duets with Vincent Delerm, Marie-France, Franck Monnet and Serge Rezvani.
In 2009, she sang in the video game Bayonetta, notably in the main theme of the game, Mysterious Destiny, and in a cover of Fly Me to the Moon.
In 2010, she toured with the French group Nouvelle Vague.
In 2019, the album Nue is released by BMG.
In 2020, she joined the troupe of Enfoirés.
