Siri Karlsson is a duo with a personal expression that aims straight for the heart. Siri Karlsson explores the boundaries of Swedish folk music, which not only their unusual setting but also their compositions and arrangement sshow.

Siri Karlsson consists of Maria Arnqvist on alto saxophone and Cecilia Österholm on key fiddle (nyckelharpa). Mellan träden (In Between Trees) from 2008 is Siri Karlsson’s debut album. Guest artists on CD: Eric Malmberg (Sagor & Swing) and Tuomo Haapala (Iskra; Maramas).
