The Growlers are an American band formed in Dana Point, California in 2006, now based in Costa Mesa. The band consists of singer Brooks Nielsen, lead guitarist Matt Taylor and keboard player/guitarist Kyle Straka. Drummer (formerly bassist) Scott Montoya and bassist Anthony Braun Perry left the band in 2016, it is currently unknown who they have been replaced with.
The band's sound has been described as "a trademark style of music that somehow combines country, surf, pop, rock and beat" which has been labelled "Beach Goth".
