Florence Leontine Mary Welch was born on August 28, 1986 in London in the district of Camberwell. She completed her secondary education at Alleyn's School in Dulwich, London. During this period, the girl plays the guitar in a punk group, The Toxic Cockroaches. She is diagnosed with dyslexia and also suffers from dysmetria, she also suffers from insomnia.
