The Gladiators est un groupe de reggae roots jamaïcain, le plus populaire dans les années 1970. Le noyau était Albert Griffiths (guitariste et chanteur), Clinton Fearon (bassiste et chanteur) et Gallimore Sutherland guitare rythmique et chanteur. Les deux albums les plus célèbres sont Trenchtown Mix Up (1976) et Proverbial Reggae (1978) avec des chansons comme "Hearsay", "Jah Works", "Dreadlocks the Times is Now". "Mix Up", "Music Makers from Jamaica" et "Soul Rebel" - une chanson écrite par The Wailers. Gladiators a également coopéré avec le grille-pain U-Roy.
