French Federation fonck (or FFF) is a French group whose music mixes different styles, mainly funk and rock. This is where was born the word "fonck." They operate a fusion between the two genres in several songs. Influences you feel African-American , as well as Caribbean , both in their music and in their texts.
In 1987, Prince Marco (vocals), Yarol Poupaud (guitar) and Nicolas "Niktus" Baby (bass) meet and form FFF (French Federation of funk). In 1990, they noted Transmusicales Rennes by the chronicler, Philippe Conrath. In the following weeks, they sign on the Epic, a subsidiary of Sony label. In 1991 they released their first album recorded Blast Culture in New York. In 1993, FFF book a second album, Free For Fever, entirely in English. March 1996 new self-titled album. FFF wins best music concert at the Olympia 1997. A live album, Live, recorded at Eurockéennes in Belfort, released in 1997. In 1999, they signed to V2 Records, a sub label of Virgin. January 29, 2000, they are back on stage at the Stade de France. In March 2000, Virgin fate.
