Acid Witch sind eine Death / Doom-Band aus Detroit, Michigan. Diese 2007 von Shagrat und Slasher Dave gegründete Band ist bekannt für ihre Mischung aus Doom-Metal- Riffs, Death-Metal-Vocals und viel Inspiration aus Halloween- und 80er-Horrorfilmen. Die Band neigt dazu, sich "Halloween Metal" zu nennen, mit einem ironischen Sinn für Humor beim Schreiben von Musik.
Acid Witch begann 2007 von Slasher Dave und Shagrat im Jahr 2007, arbeitete zunächst als Instrumentalprojekt von Slasher Dave, entwickelte sich aber im Laufe der Zeit zu einer Doom-Metal-Band, die von Pagan Altar und Witchfinder General beeinflusst wurde.
