デペッシュ・モード(Depeche Mode)はイギリスの音楽グループ。イングランドのバジルドン (Basildon) 出身。
1980年結成。欧米ではスタジアム級の人気を誇る大物バンド。
バンド名の「デペッシュ・モード」は、フランスのファッション雑誌 "Dépêche mode" から引用したものである。英語では"fast fashion"と訳され、"最先端の流行"という意味があるが、結成当時、特にその意味を意識して命名されたわけではない。メンバーの脱退、アルコール中毒、薬物過剰摂取による自殺未遂などの苦境を乗り越えながらも、30年以上に渡るキャリアと、全世界で約9,100万枚のシングル・アルバムを売り上げた記録を持つニュー・ウェーヴのロング・ランナー。2013年現在も第一線で活動を続けるシンセ・ポップの代表格であり最大級の成功者である。
その功績・業績に比して日本での知名度は低いものの、2006年のMTVヨーロッパ・ミュージック・アワードの最優秀グループ賞を得るなど、欧米での評価と人気は健在である。
