The start of 2010 was dark and I had to really put my head down and focus on my health and sadly this meant Ego Thieves was quite neglected, something that did not go down well with all the visitors and followers of the site. Dubfluencial 9 was the first of the year and didn’t drop until March, but I tried to make up for it by really putting together one of the best selections I think I ever created.
I had three months worth of tracks sitting in my inbox, the mix included so many bangers it was dumb. I mean really everything from 16bit’s remix of Plan B’s ‘Said’, Culprate’s remix of Datsik’s ‘Mechano’, the exclusive new track by Borgore and Tomba ‘Nympho’. Oh, of course one of my all-time favorite Dubstep classics ‘Tron’ by Joker.
The artwork represented a reboot for me, a new start and something fresh. Nine mixes were no mean feat and I decided to celebrate that with a ‘9’ made out of words that I associated with everything Dubfluencial, I can’t even begin to tell you how dam long it took lol but it certainly paid off and bought the series back with a bang.
