Aufstand auf den billigen Plätzen is an EP by German-speaking rapper Alpa Gun. It was released on May 2, 2008 on the Sektenmuzik label founded by Sido and B-Tight and distributed by Groove Attack. Aufstand auf den billigen Plätzen is Alpa Gun's second solo release after Geladen und entsichert. It was intended to bridge the gap between the debut album and the follow-up album Almanci. Thematically, the EP is mainly dedicated to the relationship between the so-called underclass and politics. There are two features on Aufstand auf den billigen Plätzen. Sektenmuzik member Greckoe is represented on the song "Hört zu". Sido and B-Tight can also be heard as the group A.i.d.S. (Alles ist die Sekte) on the title track "Der Aufstand". Otherwise, the EP does without feature guests. Both guest contributions come from the Sektenmuzik label and the EP features a total of four different producers. DJ Rocky & Omero Giant, who together represent "Streetcorner Music" as well as the two producers Diego and TNT. The track "Mein Weg" was released as a digital pre-release single, for which a video was also shot.
