Originally released in 1969, the third album by American singer/songwriter Keith tells the story of a boy, Charley Cinders, who is born ("Waiting to Be"); he's blind ("Alone on the Shore"); the trials and tribulations he has to deal with ("Marstrand", "China Clipper", "The Problem", "Elea-Elea", "Trixon's Election") and ultimately his own demise ("Charley Cinders")." The vinyl became a highly sought-after soft rock collectable in recent years before its CD reissue in 2008.
Recorded in RCA's Studio, New York City, USA. Produced by Ted Daryll, arrangement by Larry Fallon.
