This traces back to his 1981 album Nights (Feel Like Getting Down) -- though only for the excellent title track -- and extends to the end of the decade for "I Sleep Much Better (In Someone Else's Bed)." Ocean released some of the most memorable pop singles of the '80s (for better or worse), including "When the Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going" and "Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car," as well as some of the more enduring adult contemporary hits, such as "Suddenly" and "Love Zone."
