While the album was well received by critics and sold well, 5000 copies total, there was some minor controversy surrounding the decision by Shrapnel Records, the band's label, to not issue more copies after the limited run of 5000 were sold.
This resulted in the band requesting to be dropped from the label, and voiding their three-record deal. This was a welcome change for the band, who hadn't received any royalty checks from the label.

Hajis Kitchen; riffs and shreds wraped in a groovy rhythm section
Purchased this monster in 1995. The bar was set, unfortunateley noone has topped it! Not even the almighty Kitchen themselves. They have since been enraptured with techno - electronic bull---t, in my opinion. Avoid the following at all costs - SUCKER PUNCH and 2012 if their debut is the sound you fancy. No offense is meant, just one man's view. I was totally floored by this release and it still rank's in my top 10.
