Album DescriptionAvailable in:
In Vivo is the first live album by the Portuguese pop rock band GNR. Edited in 1990 by EMI - Valentim de Carvalho. The album captures the band in two concerts at Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, held on April 30th and May 1st of that year. Based on the album Valsa dos Detectives, the line-up also features some of the band's top hits and includes versions of "Runaway" (by Del Shannon) and "Apache" (original by The Shadows).
In Vivo had a forced second edition, by judicial action of the co-founder and former guitarist of the GNR, Vitor Rua, who did not approve the use of songs of his authorship, "Portugal na CEE" and "Sê Um GNR", inserted in a medley in the original edition of the album. As such, a 2nd edition was launched on the market with the theme "Homens Temporariamente Sós" in place of "Rapsódia" (the name with which the medley was known). This album was awarded a Platinum Disc.
