Rock In Rio Douro is a studio album by the Portuguese pop rock band GNR. Edited in April 1992 by EMI - Valentim de Carvalho. It is one of the band's works with the highest critical acclaim and sales success, being awarded 4 Platinum Records. Marked by a more rock sound, Rock In Rio Douro contains some of the best known songs by GNR, such as the duets of Rui Reininho with Javier Andreu of the Spanish La Frontera in "Sangue Oculto" and with Isabel Silvestre on the theme "Pronuncia do Norte". Contains the Portuguese version of "Homem Mau", an adaptation of the theme "Alright Now", by the British band Free. The CD edition contains "Sangue Oculto II" as an extra track, sung only by Rui Reininho. Four singles emerged from this album. For the first time, a Portuguese band manages to fill a football stadium with 40,000 spectators, in a memorable concert at Estádio José Alvalade on October 10, 1992.
