Album DescriptionAvailable in:
There's no "She's a Beauty" or "Talk to You Later" on the Tubes' volume of 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection, because those songs were recorded in the early '80s, while the group was on Capitol. This disc concentrates entirely on '70s material for A&M, when the group was at their strangest and artiest. True fans of this era will want to savor the full-length albums, of course, but for those that know the group only through album rock radio and want "White Punks on Dope," "Prime Time," and "Don't Touch Me There" in their collection, yet only want one disc, this is a good place to turn. Not for fans of the group's smoother material, of course, since this is just too weird, but it's still a good, surprisingly thorough sampler of the Tubes' A&M years.
