Atlanta rap punchline king 2 Chainz has already released one mixtape this year, but that one, The Real University (T.R.U. Jack City) was more an excuse to introduce his extended crew than a proper 2 Chainz mixtape. But now 2 Chainz has returned with a mixtape that really does sound like a 2 Chainz mixtape. The brand-new Trapavelli Tre has guests — The-Dream, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates, Young Dolph — but its focus is very much on 2 Chainz. It has eerily thunderous beats and goofy jokes and street talk and indelible hooks, and it’s pretty much what you want from this guy. We’ve posted the early tracks “Watch Out,” “Everything I Know,” and “Goat,” and now you can check out the whole 15-track tape below.
