Inspired by the show “Noites ao Piano”, which during 2011 took Rita Guerra to play in theaters from north to south of the country, “Portrait” is the image of Rita intimate, surrounded by the songs that marked her life and her professional path. Supported by the piano and her unmistakable voice, “Retrato” is an album where Rita Guerra recreates classics of Portuguese music (from Amália's fado to pop, solo or duet) and recovers songs that we would not expect to hear singing, “Classic” by Adrian Gurvitz. In addition to the classics and duets with Ivan Lins, Tim, Lara Li, Paulo de Carvalho and Anjos, Retrato ”brings three new songs, which promise to be Rita Guerra's next hymns.
