Hit play, and suddenly you’ve lost nearly an hour of your night. And of course, the fact that it is so diverse in it’s genre elements guarantees that it will reach out to new fans across the metal globe. If you fancy epic fantasy metal, or maybe dark and doomy black metal, this album will totally work for you. Coming from a typical power metal fanatic, staying away from more extreme, raw elements of most black metal, ‘Fire Meets Ice’ is a fantastic, near perfect release I will hold onto and look forward to listening to all year long. -- Reviewed by metalwani.com
