Ehrensache 2 is the sixth album by German rapper Alpa Gun. It was released on October 9, 2015 via the Major Movez label. Ehrensache 2 entered the German album charts at number 30. It left the charts again after just one week. The album reached number 27 in Switzerland and number 50 in Austria.



User Album Review
The website Rap.de described Ehrensache 2 as "lovelessly cobbled together." Alpa Gun "takes himself absurdly seriously" and uses "simple flows, platitudes, crude insults and themes from the blueprint clothing rack." The term "honor" is used "what feels like 50 times per song." Rappers such as Eko Fresh, Bass Sultan Hengzt, Sido and Nazar are described as dishonorable and "covered in expletives." One of the "highlights of the album", on the other hand, is Helal Olsun, which conveys "authentic emotions". The productions are "loveless" and sound like the first attempts of a hobby producer due to the "outrageously synthetic-sounding violins, oriental samples and powerless rippling drums." While most of the guest musicians only contribute choruses, the guest rappers at least "deliver solid fare throughout."[3] Florian Peking from MZEE rates the album as "predictable". In his opinion, "[statements] about honor [] remain mostly phrase-like and thus without any real added value". He also emphasizes the consistency of the performer, which is expressed in the fact that "the proclamations of a virtuous way of life hardly coincide with threats of violence and wild insults". Overall, he rates the record as "too backward".
