"Wyatt At The Coyote Palace" is the ninth solo album from American singer/songwriter Kristin Hersh, released in the UK, 28 October 2016 through Omnibus Press.
Wyatt At The Coyote Palace is a hardcover book of essays and lyrics with two CD’s included. It gets its name from an abandoned apartment building behind Kristin’s studio that her son Wyatt spent the majority of this recording session exploring. It’s the third book/album release following Hersh’s 2010 release Crooked and Throwing Muses’ 2013 release Purgatory/Paradise.
"Double album with a book, or a book with two CDs; either way, Kristin Hersh’s Wyatt At The Coyote Palace is an involving, heartbreaking and immersive work of art that brings the listener close – sometimes uncomfortably close – to the artist herself. At once wise, witty and anguished, it’s an extraordinary achievement by a singer and songwriter at the top of her game". By Will Pinfold
