"Dissociation" is the sixth and final studio album by American mathcore band The Dillinger Escape Plan. It was released on October 14, 2016 by the group's independent label Party Smasher and distributed by Cooking Vinyl. Dissociation was revealed as the Dillinger Escape Plan's sixth album alongside guitarist and founding member Ben Weinman's announcement that the group was to "go out while we're still on top" following their tour cycle for the album.
Dissociation received acclaim from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album has an average score of 90 based on 5 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim"
