Glen Phillips delivers his first solo studio album in 10 years, Swallowed By The New, which was made in the midst of his recent divorce. "This album is about the questions we ask when things don't go our way," he said. I started writing right after my ex and I separated, but I told myself that I was not going to write a break-up album. It has heavy subject matter, but it’s not a dark album."
