"Wild Card" is the second full length studio album by the Dutch progressive metal band ReVamp. The album was released on 23 August 2013 in Europe, on 26 August in the UK and on 3 September 2013 in the USA on the Nuclear Blast label.
Wild Card a title that, according to singer Floor Jansen, came about as follows: “This album became the most aggressive album I’ve ever made and in the lyrics I tell a lot about my personal experiences of the last years. This resulted into some heavy stories and some openhearted ‘screams’ I needed out of my system. A wild card is an unpredictable and unforeseeable factor. You don’t know what you’re getting, or when. That’s this album!.
