"Everclear" is the fifth album by indie rock band American Music Club, released 5 October 1991 on the Alias Records label. Overall, the album received widespread praise, but was criticized for being overproduced, despite having been released on an independent label.
On the strength of this album, Mark Eitzel was named Rolling Stone magazine's Songwriter Of The Year in 1991. Rolling Stone also placed Everclear in their list of the top 5 albums of the year.
