The '80s invented it; the '90s perfected it. This was the era of the Choon: club anthems which filled both dancefloors and the charts. They ranged from House and Techno to Hardcore, Big Beat and Trance. Some raised the hairs on the back of your neck. Some cheerfully rampaged across the border into novelty.
The dance scene never knew such quality, variety or popularity. Here, crammed into three discs, is the essence of how that decade felt and sounded from the decks: the hits, the anthems, the cult favourites, the cool and the cheesy (as if!). Featuring Baby D, Robin S, Moloko, Groove Armada and many more.
