"Shadows in the Air" is the tenth full length solo studio album from musician, composer and singer Jack Bruce. The album was released on 10 July 2001, Sanctuary Records label, It was Bruce's first Kip Hanrahan produced album.
Here, in addition to Clapton, he enlists the likes of Gary Moore, Vernon Reid, and Dr. John. The album includes two Cream classics "White Room" and "Sunshine of Your Love" and a third selection from his days in the short-lived '70s supergroup West, Bruce & Laing, the bulk of Shadows in the Air consists of new material cowritten and coproduced by Bruce and past collaborator Kip Hanrahan.
