"The Radium" is the debut full length studio album from UK based blues rock power trio, Virgil and The Accelerators, released 5 Sept. 2011 on the Mystic Records label.
The Radium contains eleven original tracks, starting with “Working Man”, which develops after a gentle opening into heavy-beating blues-rock, complete with the first of many blistering guitar solos. The album claimed a Best Of Year spot in Classic Rock magazine’s year round-up.
The title of the album refers to The Radium Beer Hall in South Africa where the very young Virgil witnessed his father playing the blues.
