Paradise and Back Again is the ninth studio album by Dutch recording artist Anouk. It was released on 21 November 2014 by Universal Music.
After an artistically somewhat more intense album, with an unexpected Eurovision Song Contest hit in the form of Birds, singer Anouk returns one and a half years later with a relatively more light-hearted record. Musically more light-hearted, at least.
Her previous album Sad Singalong Songs was a bit heavy on the stomach but was in terms of emotional intensity on the spot. Exactly where Anouks power lies. She again shows that on Paradise And Back Again, which is much more subtle at first hearing, but revealing the same emotional depth on closer listening.
