"GCS 2000" ist das achte Studioalbum der amerikanischen Funkband Graham Central Station. Das von Prince mitarrangierte, miteingespielte und mitproduzierte Album erschien am 2. Februar 1999 bei seinem eigenen Label NPG Records und enthält zwölf Songs. Die Laufzeit des Albums beträgt 58 Minuten und 36 Sekunden. Aus "GCS 2000" wurden keine Singles ausgekoppelt. Drei Songs auf dem Album sind überarbeitete Versionen von Songs, die auf früheren Alben der Band Graham Central Station bzw. des Sängers Larry Graham veröffentlicht wurden.
Die Albumaufnahmen fanden zwischen November 1997 und Januar 1998 in den Paisley Park Studios in Chanhassen statt. Das Album konnte sich nicht in den internationalen Musikcharts platzieren.

During the late '90s, Prince attempted to help resurrect the careers of two funk icons from the '70s -- Chaka Khan and Larry Graham -- by signing both to his label, NPG, and producing new albums for each. The Prince/Graham album was issued in 1998 as GCS 2000, and turned out to be the first new studio album credited to Graham Central Station in nearly two decades. Whereas such earlier Graham Central Station classics as Release Yourself sound as if they were recorded entirely live, GCS 2000 reflects Prince's renowned "studio perfection" approach throughout, especially on such tracks as "Free" and "Groove On." Too much Prince and not enough Graham makes GCS 2000 sound like a Prince solo album with Graham guesting, instead of a triumphant return to form from this trailblazing funk bass great.
