My Krazy Life is the debut studio album by American rapper YG. The album was released on March 18, 2014, by Pu$haz Ink, CTE World and Def Jam Recordings. Its recording process took place from 2012 to 2014 in various recording studios, mostly in Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California.
YG signed to Def Jam in 2009 and began releasing various mixtapes over the years. DJ Mustard begun significantly producing his work starting with 2010's The Real 4 Fingaz. In June 2013, after announcing that Young Jeezy would executive produce the album, he revealed that the album would also be released by CTE World. The album features guest appearances from Drake, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rich Homie Quan, Ty Dolla Sign, Schoolboy Q, Meek Mill, Jay Rock, Young Jeezy, TeeFlii, Kendrick Lamar and among others. The album's production was primarily handled by frequent collaborator DJ Mustard, along with production from Ty Dolla Sign and Terrace Martin.
It was supported by four singles, "My Nigga" featuring Young Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan, "Left, Right", "Who Do You Love?" featuring Drake and "Do It to Ya" featuring TeeFlii. "My Nigga" peaked at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and was certified Platinum in the United States by the RIAA. YG also released multiple mixtapes leading up to the album's release including the Just Re'd Up series and the DJ Mustard-produced 4Hunnid Degreez.
