"The Big Wheel" is the seventh studio album by Scottish Celtic rock band Runrig. It was originally released in 1991 on the Chrysalis Records label.
In a mixtue of Gaelic and English this album features a range of styles from Stadium Rock interspersed with intimate gaelic songs in praise of a lifestyle few of us will experience.
Always advancing the Scottish Gaelic language, they include their customary two such numbers with "Abhainn an T-Sluaigh" and "An Cuibhle Mor." One of their most well-known songs "Flower of the West" concludes this album .
