Turbocharged, melodic punk rock from 7 Seconds, The Music, the Message is a surprisingly inspired and energetic outing for the veteran band, who successfully bring together the velocity of their earliest hardcore recordings with the spirited sing-along melodies that sprouted up during the middle of their career. Songs like "Ghost," "My Gravity," and the title track are lean, adrenalized, utterly infectious blasts of punk perfection. A high point for the band.
