This is Jones' most musically mature and toned-down album. The synthesizers are less overbearing than on the previous albums, yet the songs are mediocre. One to One reached number ten in the U.K., but did not fare as well in the U.S., peaking at number 56. This album features the revamped "No One Is to Blame," which is inferior to the original version.
