"Back and Fourth" The album was produced by Gus Dudgeon and recorded between February and April 1978. It was the first album to feature the reformed original Lindisfarne lineup after they had broken up in 1973.
Back and Fourth was released in June 1978 in the UK by Mercury Records. It spent eleven weeks in the UK album charts, reaching a highest position of #22, with a total of three weeks in the top 25.
