The Time of the Oath é o sétimo álbum lançado em 1996 pela banda alemã de power metal Helloween.

É um álbum semi-temático que conta a história das profecias de Nostradamus. Neste álbum o som fica mais abrangente, não tão fixado no power metal, passando um pouco pelo hard rock como em "A Million To One", "Wake Up the Mountain e Anything My Mama Don't Like, pelo Metal progressivo, em "Mission Motherland" e "The Time of the Oath".

Temas clássicos do Helloween estão presentes em "We Burn", "Steel Tormentor", "Kings Will Be Kings", "Power" e "Before the War". Em 2006 este álbum foi relançado com um CD bónus. O título do CD se refere ao final de um outro livro famoso, de Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: Fausto, Volume II.
