Rolle mit Hip Hop is the debut album by German rapper Afrob. It was released on 29 March 1999 on the Four Music and Columbia Records labels. The music on the album was produced by Afrob himself and the music producers DJ Friction, DJ Thomilla, Wasi, Philippe Kayser and Tommy Wittinger. The album cover shows Afrob's face. He is looking at the viewer and is wearing an Afro. In the center of the picture are the white lettering Afrob and Rolle with Hip Hop. The background is also white. Eight songs on the album feature other artists alongside Afrob. Rapper Ferris MC can be heard on the song Reimemonster, while hip-hop duo Spezializtz make a guest appearance on the track Immer noch Kaffer en mass. Rapper Melanie Wharton is featured on the track Einfach and her rap group Skills en Masse supports Afrob on Keiner für den andern. Wasi, member of the rap group Massive Töne, collaborates with Afrob on both parts of Spektakulär. In addition, the track Lieb den Scheiß is a collaboration with rapper Max Herre, while Johan can be heard on Wo ihr auch seid.
Rolle mit Hip Hop entered the German album charts on April 12, 1999 at number 66 and peaked at number 13 seven weeks later. It remained in the Top 100 for a total of 25 weeks. The album missed the charts in Austria and Switzerland. The song Reimemonster was released as the first single on March 9, 1999 and reached number 42 in the German charts. In addition, the song Einfach was released on August 10, 1999, which did not make it into the charts.

Daniela Meixner from laut.de rates the album with three out of five possible points. She describes the content as "spectacular stories from the neighborhood" and finds that Afrob is "the perfect complement to Freundeskreis and Massive Tönen".
