"I started writing this, my first solo album, while writing Come Taste The Band, then finished it while recording it basically alone.
Mel Galley and Dave Holland came in and played their parts, but I wanted and needed to be alone in the studio.
To this day, this album holds its ground.
It is the most 'free' album I have made.
You can hear the laughter and the tears, and the growth of an artist who had just been given the gift."
