Sugar Tax is the eighth album by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), released in 1991. Following the departure of Paul Humphreys, it was the first of three albums which were essentially a solo venture for singer Andy McCluskey under the OMD moniker. It marked a commercial renaissance for the band, spawning two UK top ten hit singles.
